Notification of significant proportion of voting rights

This is to inform you that on 29 May 2009 Merfin, d. o. o., bought 116,000 shares of Merkur, d. d., reference MER.

Total number of shares and a stake in per cent owned by the person before the transaction in the equity capital of the issuer: number of MER shares: 623,332,  a stake in equity capital: 47.49%.

Total number of shares and a stake in per cent owned by the person after the transaction in the equity capital of the issuer: number of MER shares: 739,332, a stake in equity capital: 56.33%.
